The humble indie bundle 2 is here! A follow up to the fairly successful original Humble Indie Bundle, it lets you decide how much you would spend on their bundled independently developed offering. And just like the first Humble Bundle, you can pick on how much of your money goes to the developers, and how much goes to the Electronic Frontier Foundation or the Child’s Play Charity.

The bundle includes:

  • Braid,  a platformer game. From the preview, it looks that player is able to rewind time. Neat
  • Cortex Command, also a platform game
  • Machinarium, a point-and-click adventure
  • Osmos, a puzzle game
  • Revenge of the Titans, an arcade RTS

All of them runs on either Windows, Linux, or OSX.

One thing to note, quoted directly from the site:

“Please note, Cortex Command is still under active development. Revenge of the Titans has just launched and PuppyGames plans to keep improving it “

Also, on the first Humble Indie Bundle, customers were not entitled to receive patch and update, this is not the case with the 2nd, as quoted from the page:

“You are eligible for all future updates! The bundle makes a great holiday gift that will keep improving over time.”

Will I spend my money on this one? Maybe 🙂 I’m quite satisfied with the first bundle, as I still play World of Goo from time to time. But the decision to include Cortex Command which is still on a very early stage of development kinda worries me. I also heard that at its current Linux port version, Braid won’t let you use your gamepad. Yes, They promise you updates, and yes you can use key2joy to map your gamepad on your linux box But still, these decisions shows that it seems  the second bundle was prepared in a hurry.

So.. Maybe 🙂
